Zebra Haworthia

Bedroom Drought Tolerant Family & Genus
admin March 24, 2026 4 min read

Zebra Haworthia is a compact, beginner-friendly succulent that forms a neat rosette of narrow, pointed, fleshy leaves. Many plants develop the famous raised white banding—little textured bumps that create a bold “zebra” pattern—making it a perfect contrast beside rounder succulents on a bright windowsill. As it matures, it may also send up slim flower stalks in summer topped with small, white, tubular blooms. It grows slowly, tolerates typical indoor humidity, and stays attractive with minimal fuss as long as the soil drains fast and watering is kept on the dry side.

Scientific Name Haworthiopsis attenuata
