Wild Daffodil

Bulb Flowers Family & Genus Fast Growing
admin March 25, 2026 4 min read

Wild daffodil is a beloved spring bulb that pops up with fresh green, strap-like leaves and an upright stem carrying a single, showy bloom. The flower is typically soft to rich yellow, with six petals (tepals) framing a bold trumpet-shaped cup (the corona), and it can carry a light, sweet fragrance. It grows from an oval, tunicate bulb and often settles in happily—returning each spring and gradually forming larger clumps when conditions suit it.
