Rosy Calathea is a true “living painting” of a houseplant, grown for its bold, brushstroke-like leaves in rosy pinks and reds layered over deep green, sometimes with creamy highlights. It forms a full, fanning clump of spear-to-oval leaves that arch outward, so it looks its best when you give it a little space (and a simple pot) to show off the color.

Scientific Name Goeppertia roseopicta 'Rosy'
Family / Genus Marantaceae / Goeppertia
Origin Cultivar of a Brazilian rainforest species (derived from Goeppertia roseopicta).
Aliases Calathea 'Rosy', Prayer Plant (Calathea), Rose-Painted Calathea
