Moso bamboo is a majestic, timber-sized bamboo famous for its tall, straight culms and lush green canopy. Grown in groves, it creates a serene “bamboo forest” look and also serves as one of China’s most economically important bamboos—used for poles, building materials, and countless bamboo products. In spring, its tender new shoots are harvested as a seasonal delicacy.
