Grape-leaved anemone (Anemone vitifolia) is a tough, herbaceous perennial wildflower grown for its long season of airy, white to blush-pink blooms. It naturally forms a sturdy clump from a woody, slanting rhizome, giving it a strong, ground-covering presence in the garden. A lover of bright shade and dappled woodland light, it’s notably cold-tolerant and fits beautifully into naturalistic plantings, autumn borders, and relaxed, meadowy edges where you want dependable flowers without fuss.
