Areca Palm

Air Purifying Autumn Bedroom
March 24, 2026

Areca palm (散尾葵) is a lush, clumping palm famous for its multiple bamboo-like canes and soft, arching, feather-shaped fronds that instantly give a room a relaxed tropical vibe. Native to Madagascar, it’s one of the most popular indoor floor plants because it looks elegant, handles bright indoor conditions well, and is often praised for helping raise humidity and freshen the feel of indoor air. In warm, frost-free climates it can also be grown outdoors as a landscape palm, where it becomes much larger and even more fountain-like.
