Aizoon Stonecrop

Autumn Child Safe Drought Tolerant
admin March 24, 2026 4 min read

Aizoon stonecrop is a hardy, low-growing perennial that makes a reliable “green carpet” in places where other plants struggle. It forms spreading clumps of thick, slightly leathery green leaves and tops them in summer with clusters of tiny, star-shaped yellow flowers. Because it handles drought, thin soils, and cold weather with surprising ease, it’s a favorite problem-solver for exposed urban plantings, rock gardens, and sunny banks.
