Quihoui Privet

Autumn Family & Genus Fast Growing
admin March 25, 2026 5 min read

Quihoui privet is a tough, fast-regrowing shrub that can be deciduous to semi-evergreen depending on your climate. It has small oval leaves, sweetly fragrant white flowers in mid-to-late summer, and then purple-black, berry-like drupes in autumn. Because it takes clipping exceptionally well (and bounces back quickly), it’s a favorite for tidy hedges, green borders, and reliable, low-fuss landscaping.
