Prince’s Feather

Autumn Family & Genus Fast Growing
Oasislink Garden & Outdoor Team March 24, 2026 5 min read

Prince's feather is a bold, fast-growing annual that shoots up into a tall, upright clump and finishes with showy, tassel-like flower spikes that gently droop. The blooms are densely packed and usually soft pink to white, giving the plant a cheerful “cottage garden” look—especially in late summer. It naturally favors moist places like ditch edges and wet ground, but it’s also happily cultivated in gardens to brighten corners along walls and courtyards. For a short-lived indoor display, fresh cut stems can even be kept in simple water culture in bright light.
