Bulbous air plant is a wonderfully odd little Tillandsia that often gets compared to a tiny octopus: slender, curling leaves twist outward from a swollen, bulb-like base. When it’s gearing up to bloom, the foliage can blush red, and in late winter to early spring it may produce pink to purple flowers from the center—small, but full of personality.
