Judith Hindle is a famously showy carnivorous pitcher plant cultivar grown for its plentiful, slender upright pitchers and a distinctly frilled, ruffled “lid.” New pitchers usually start out green, then color up as they mature—often turning a rich, deep red with attractive marbled veining. In spring, it also produces classic Sarracenia flowers in deep red, giving you a second wave of drama beyond the pitchers.
