Cooper’s Haworthia

Bedroom Drought Tolerant Family & Genus
Oasislink Houseplant Editorial March 24, 2026 5 min read

Cooper's haworthia is a petite, rosette-forming succulent loved for its plump, jewel-like leaves with translucent “window” tips that seem to glow in bright, indirect light. It stays compact, gradually forming small clumps as it produces offsets. While it can send up a thin stalk of small, pale tubular flowers in spring, it’s mainly grown for its striking foliage—making it a perfect little desk or windowsill plant for succulent fans.

Scientific Name Haworthia cooperi
Family / Genus Asphodelaceae / Haworthia
Origin Southern Africa (especially South Africa, Eastern Cape).
Aliases Crystal Haworthia, Window Haworthia
